What is Project: Arcanex
Project: Arcanex is an ambitious project consisting of two main components.
Worldbuilding Project
First, we are creating a rich universe where high fantasy and science fiction converge into a unique blend. This universe will serve as the foundation for all Arcanex Studios’ games, products, and stories.
TTRPG Project
Second, we will begin development of our very first product, Arcanex: The Roleplaying Game. This new d20-based system is designed with storytelling at its core, incorporating elements from beloved games such as Dungeons & Dragons, Magic: The Gathering, Warhammer, and many others to create a truly immersive experience.

As we craft this new setting, we’re focused on delicately balancing the enchanting magic of high fantasy within the expansive realm of sci-fi. In Arcanex, classic fantasy races such as elves and dwarves helm various galactic factions, navigating a universe where magic isn’t just a mystical force but the very fuel that powers our technology. Here, every piece of technology has a touch of magic, creating a world where the wonders of high fantasy meet the thrill of sci-fi innovation.
The roleplaying game details
Arcanex: The Roleplaying Game is our fresh spin on the tabletop RPG genre. Built on a familiar d20 system, this game will resonate with fans of Dungeons and Dragons and Pathfinder, yet introduce unique, innovative mechanics that set it apart. As we develop the first edition, our goal is to embrace what we cherish about roleplaying games, while creating a new, strategic system pulling inspiration from games like Magic: The Gathering, Warhammer and other RPGs. We’re designing a system that’s not only engaging but also easy to learn, ensuring both game masters and players can dive right in. With streamlined rules and intuitive mechanics, Arcanex: The Roleplaying Game aims to be accessible to newcomers while offering the depth veterans appreciate.
